Project Highlight: Coastal Tranquility on Lake Templene

We love taking on unique projects, so we were absolutely thrilled when a client asked us to help them update their home on Lake Templene with a coastal-inspired design.

Bringing the Coastal Interior To Life

Our clients came to us shortly after purchasing an older home on Lake Templene. The home’s interior needed some updating, but our client wanted to make sure the refreshed look matched their style and made the home truly feel like theirs.

Coastal interiors draw inspiration from the natural world to bring the tranquility of the beach into your home. Neutral tones, natural materials, and sophisticated architectural elements work together to create an understated elegance that invites relaxation and serenity.

The project was a complete interior makeover, which meant we could bring all our areas of expertise together. We painted every room from top to bottom, including the trim and window casings, and refinished the cabinetry. We even restained the spiral staircase in the entryway and installed new door knobs and cabinetry hardware.

The spiral staircase is the standout feature of this entryway. Its graceful curve is accentuated by the natural wood tones and elegant ironwork of the railing. We restained the steps and repainted the risers to match the trim.

Kitchen

The kitchen uses neutral tones to enhance the space’s open, airy feeling. PMV repainted the walls and ceiling, refinished the cabinetry, and installed new hardware.

The sitting room combines a beach-inspired color palette with woven textures to create an area perfect for spending time with family and friends or relaxing after a long day on the lake.
